Papua Consultant is Iain Kobak. Educated in Indonesia, the UK and Canada, he speaks four languages. He possesses a deeply intimate familiarity with Papuan, Indonesian and Western culture with all its' intricacies. His focus is on M&E, community liaison, strategic planning and/or programme implementation and management.
Performed a number of programme evaluations (Tearfund, Oxfam, MFSII & more) in Papua and spent 5 years as the M&E specialist for a DIFID programme (Green Economy Papua).
Translated books, manuals and have acted as a live translator for multiple clients including DFAT.
Worked as a Community Liaison officer at PTFI and the same in other contractual opportunities.
